What does beta testing mean?
Generally, Beta testing is where a limited and controlled number of users are given early access to a new product or feature. In this specific case, we are Beta testing Imagine AI - testers have access to our new AI features in selected products and provide ongoing feedback to Imagine Learning’s product team.
Note: Beta testers will have access to these features ahead of their public release to other customers. Beta testing is done to review how features work in real-world situations, and give customers more of an insight as to what they may be able to expect in the near future. There will most certainly be bugs and errors. This is expected and part of the process.
Why do we do beta testing?
To ensure our new AI features are shaped by input and feedback from educators, Imagine Learning is running a six-month program for approximately 20 interested districts. (10 for each product)
What is Curriculum-Informed AI?
Some key features that teachers will be provided with during the Beta are:
Teachers can use AI to create math practice worksheets aligned to their standards and grounded in High Quality Instructional Material along with LLM created insights such as common misconceptions and model solutions.
Teachers can generate customized lesson plans powered by AI that is grounded in and aligned with their curriculum.
Teachers can ask Professional Development questions of an LLM powered Curriculum Coach, grounded in their standards, curriculum, and IL Professional Development material.
Teachers can use AI to author and translate communications to parents and students.
Teachers can search “AI-ingested” content to find relevant resources across their adopted curriculum.
What is expected of a beta tester?
- We expect that you will make all efforts to try out the available AI features during the beta testing period.
- We expect that you will give our product team your honest feedback about what worked or didn’t work and what you liked and didn’t like.
We want all your thoughts! There are no wrong answers!
